Call For Participation

The International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP) is one of the oldest continuously running computer science conferences in parallel computing in the world. It is a premier forum for researchers, scientists, and practitioners in academia, industry, and government to present their latest research findings in all aspects of the field. This year, ICPP 2018 will be held at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, located in the beautiful Willamette Valley. We invite everyone to participate.

The conference will have a strong technical program of 91 papers in the algorithm, architecture, software, performance, and application areas. In addition, 7 workshops will take place on the first day. We are also proud to host a Ph.D. Forum during the conference where Ph.D. students will have the opportunity to present their research work and participate in mentoring activities.

The ICPP technical program will kick off on Tuesday, August 14, with a keynote address by Mark Robins, Sr. Director / Head of the AI Strategy Office at Intel. He is responsible for establishing and driving the AI strategy for the company. ICPP is also honored to have 2 outstanding researchers as plenary speakers. Dr. Manish Parashar, a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Rutgers and the NSF OAC Office Director, will give a plenary talk on August 15. Prof. Mary Hall, a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Utah, will give the other plenary talk on August 16.

We look forward to seeing you in Eugene.
